Sky Stories

Hastings Secondary College, Wauchope High School and Future Moves, Charles Sturt University are proud to present the annual Sky Stories event, Friday 24 August from 5pm.

Educators and astronomy enthusiasts will present an entertaining and educational night engaging students and our community in learning.

You will learn everything about the night sky, how to read sky maps and how to identify moon craters and star clusters.

Bring your own telescope or view the night sky through giant telescopes provided. You will also see Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and the Moon.

So come on down and bring the whole family for an exciting fun-filled evening and learn how the night sky connects to Dreamtime stories past and future.

Wauchope High School and Hastings Secondary College hospitality students are looking forward to tantalising your taste buds with a beautiful array of cakes, biscuits and slices, tea, coffee and cold drinks. A BBQ will be running throughout the evening.

Cheer on the IMF Running group as they take us into the evening.

Bring a chair or a picnic rug and your curiosity to learn about the wonders above. Gold coin donation.
